India… Writing about India is a challenging endeavor, no; it’s an impossible mission. A sub continent in which 1/6 of the inhabitants of our planet call it home. India, the abode of mathematics, logic, mysticism and superstitious and is where they continue to thrive. A plethora of colors, aromas, textures, melodies and illusions that haunt its visitors till they keep returning back again and again. India is a celebration of life, celebration of human creativity and even a celebration of death. I fell under its spell, rather its endless spells, and since my first visit I have been lured to return back. What could be written about India? A country of extreme superlatives, where miracles occur on daily basis, myths are witnessed everywhere and sagas are still woven. Every scene in India is a master scene, in fact there is not even a boring moment, where you can take a breath and start assuming that you got used to India. Who can write about India? A lifetime is not enough to get a glimpse of the land of reincarnation. Thus a few visits would never give a clear picture. Anyhow no one could ever claim his ability to describe India, even encyclopedias seem incomplete. This book is not a travelogue; it is not even a book about India, its culture, history and cities. It could be considered a love letter, a series of abrupt fascinated testimonials. "ناماستيه" هو كتاب عن الهند و ما اصعب الكتابة عن الهند , وهي طوفان هائل من الثقافات و الاعراق والديانات والتي اثرت ومازالت تؤثر علي العالم باسره. وبقدرصعوبة الكتابة عن الهند بقدر ثراء وتعدد تجارب زوارها, اذ ان الهند تمنح زوارها مزيجا لا ينسي من الدهشة و الانبهار مع بعض الصدمات و المفاجات ايضا. فالهند قادرة علي الاحتفال بالحياة في شكل اشكالها و اطوارها كما انها في نفس الوقت قادرة علي الاحتفاء بالموت, الم يبتكر شعبها فلسفة تناسخ الارواح و الحياة السرمدية؟ تنقلت بين المدن والولايات الهندية منبهرا بقصور وقلاع ومعابد و مساجد تشهد علي ابداع الهنود وتفرد فنونهم لاقع في غرام الثقافة الهندية المعاصرة و التي تمكنت من الحفاظ علي تراث الاف السنين و استخدامه بشكل يومي. فهناك اسطورة او عدة اساطير وراء كل احتفال و هناك احتفال لكل معجزة او حتي رؤيا. تعددت الالهة و الديانات و انقسمت الي طوائف لا نهائية اضقت علي ثقافة الهند مزاقا غرائبيا فريدا. واذا بدا اندهاشي و انبهاري بالهند بين سطور الكتاب مبالغا في فاسمح لي عزيزي القارئ ان تعتبر ما بين يديك رسالة حب الي الهند وثقافتها وشعبها.
